Valerie and Adam got married in May 2021 at Lone Summit Ranch in Lee's Summit, MO. This was my first time out at that venue and I highly recommend it! They had beautiful spaces for getting ready, ceremony and reception PLUS they had endless places for great photos!
This was my first time shooting a wedding where the bridesmaids wore mismatched dresses and I instantly became obsessed! The groom and groomsmen wore green suits, which was also super fun!
Adam and Valerie chose not to do a first look, but they did do a first touch and read their vows to each other back to back. There wasn't a dry eye in the place! Adam wore a face mask over his eyes so that he wouldn't see Valerie, which was hilarious!
During groomsmen photos Adam wanted to attempt the "groom throw" - I don't think he looked scared at all. 😉
The ceremony was outdoors and the weather was beautiful except for the crazy wind! The vases and pampas grass at the altar kept falling over. However, when it was time for sunset photos, clouds covered the sky and it started POURING rain just minutes after the exit. Lucky us!!
It was so beautiful getting to see Adam and Valerie join together in marriage. Congrats to the Winters!!
